We charge a total monthly rental which includes a service charge, water rates and electricity (which covers the provision of under-floor background heating in flats and all communal facilities)

 

The service charge includes Site Management and support services, laundry facilities, maintenance of gardens and grounds, cleaning of common areas, emergency call and alarm system, CCTV Security, mail collection, communal TV aerial and licence. Council Tax is not included; it is charged at Band B for studios and Band C for one-bedroom flats. Personal usage of electricity and telephone is not included. 

 

Any changes in rents are notified at the AGM which is held in March.

 

 

Rents are paid in advance, per calendar month. They are based on the size of the flat: from 35 sq m for our smallest studio flat to 67 sq m for our largest flat. Each flat consists of a bedsitting room/sitting room and bedroom, kitchen, bathroom with WC and shower, and small entrance lobby.
